Artists Note: I have done a series of these floating skulls over the last few years. Sometimes I have an idea as I start but others, like this one, materialize as I begin the sketching process. It can be very rewarding to turn your creative mind over to your subconscious and see what happens. I have some ideas on the meaning behind this but those are for another day.
